Hi, my name is Dertt. As you may have already realized I’m a Tauren Druid. Lets get on with this shall we?
I first started playing World of Warcraft back in 2005. My first character was a Dwarf Warrior leveled as fury spec and swapped to Prot at endgame. Unfortunately I don’t recall the name of the first two guilds I was in. Around lvl 40 my cousin started playing a Paladin and joined the guild <Holy Leigon> of US Rexxar he recruited me into the guild shortly after that and I found my first home in WoW. Around the time I dinged 70 the leaders of the guild were stepping down and somehow I ended up in charge. I turned the guild from a regular leveling guild into a leveling/casual raiding guild. I stuck with <Holy Leigon> until I quit WoW around early 2007.
Then in mid 2008 I decided to rejoin the game. This time I rolled a Tauren Shaman which i had no intention of playing after 55. I was after a Death Knight. I got that shaman to 55 and immediately rolled a Undead DK leveled him to 60 and found my second home in WoW <Solitas Sidus Gens> also of US Rexxar. Shortly after my DK was running naxx 10 with my new guild the guild leaders decided to merge with <The Sinister Mob> US Rexxar. I raided with this guild for a while getting geared all the way to Ulduar 25 ready but decided that I wanted to go back to <Solitas Sidus Gens> as a bunch of the old officers and players had decided to reform the guild. Shortly after joining I decided it was time I gave rolling a druid another shot as I had always wanted to but had never managed to get past lvl 15.
Dertt was born. Shortly after rolling my new favorite character my girlfriend decided she wanted to play with me and we set her up with an account through the Recruit A Friend system. She unfortunately liked the blood elves so I had to roll a blood elf with her until the levels matched up with her new BE Hunter Eroitic and Dertt. I’ve always wanted to heal and that is my ultimate goal with Dertt unfortunately leveling resto is a bad idea so im currently scratching my way through the levels in kitty form.
So now you know my player history. I hope it didn’t bore you. So don’t bash your head against your desk in frustration or anything…lol. I’m going to quickly cover a bit of my style so you can know what to expect from A Tranquil Spirit. I’m the kind of player that likes to research gear and specs. I pride myself on knowing how the various raid encounters work and once I get Dertt maxed out and start healing I’ll have officially played every position in the game Tank, DPS, n Heals. I enjoy pvp occasionally so i also have experience in arenas, duels, and BG’s. This blog is mainly about resto druids but don’t be overly surprised if there are a few cameo posts from one of my other characters or the girlfriend from time to time.
